Nova arrived in New Zealand just before her first birthday, and her arrival has truly been a dream come true for us. For many years, we had admired long-coated solid black German Shepherds, and we feel incredibly fortunate that Nova has made New Zealand her home with us at Shephaven. Our heartfelt gratitude goes out to Bronson from Bronboreo Kennels in Perth for making it possible for Nova to join our family.
From the moment she stepped into our lives, Nova has brought an abundance of joy and love. She is a gentle and playful soul who has seamlessly settled into our household, instantly connecting with our existing pack as if she had always been a part of it. Her adaptability to family life has been remarkable; she learns quickly and thrives on companionship. Nova's sweet nature shines through in everything she does, and at times, her exuberance and enthusiasm make her seem like a ten-week-old puppy trapped in the body of a one-year-old.
As we look to the future, we are excited about the adventures that lie ahead with Nova by our side. Her potential is limitless, and we are eager to nurture her growth and watch her thrive. Recently, she made her debut at a dog show and was awarded Best of Breed, a testament to her beauty and excellent temperament. We can’t wait to see what other milestones she will achieve in the coming years!
